DRIVEYE Warranty Policy

Warranty Period

DRIVEYE offers a 12-month warranty starting from the date of purchase for all original dash cams and accessories.

Extended Warranty for Subscribers
Customers who register as subscribers on the official DRIVEYE website are eligible for an additional 6 months of warranty coverage, extending the total warranty period to 18 months from the date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage

Within the warranty period, if any product fails due to design flaws, material defects, or manufacturing issues, DRIVEYE will provide free repair or replacement service.


Scope of Warranty

Applicable Products
The warranty applies only to DRIVEYE original dash cams and their accessories, such as power cables, mounts, etc.

Normal Usage Conditions
Warranty coverage is valid only for defects that occur under normal usage conditions. It does not cover damage caused by external factors or misuse.

Eligible Issues

  • Functional failures caused by design defects;
  • Malfunctions due to material or workmanship problems;
  • Other inherent quality issues of the product.


The Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or external forces (e.g., dropping, impact, water exposure);
  • Repairs or modifications conducted by unauthorized service providers;
  • Issues resulting from failure to follow the user manual for operation or maintenance;
  • Cosmetic wear and tear such as scratches, discoloration, or stains from regular use;
  • Products that are beyond the warranty period.


Warranty Service Process

Repair
If a product experiences issues during the warranty period, customers can contact DRIVEYE’s after-sales support for repair. Free repair or paid service will be offered depending on the nature of the issue.

Replacement
If the product cannot be repaired, DRIVEYE will provide a replacement with the same or equivalent model within the warranty period.

Service Request Procedure

  • Contact DRIVEYE after-sales support and provide the following:
  1. Valid proof of purchase;
  2. Description of the issue;
  3. Photos or videos illustrating the defect;
  • Once the issue is verified, the service team will arrange the repair or replacement accordingly.


Processing Time

  • Repair: Typically completed within 7–14 business days after receiving the product (depending on the complexity of the issue).
  • Replacement: Once the issue is confirmed, the replacement will be processed within 5–7 business days.
